Details- This is a new specialty product sometimes referred to as a hot-melt adhesive web. Supplied in a unique nonwoven form, Spunfab adhesive webs are used to effectively bond, laminate, and coat a variety of materials, such as textiles, foams, wood, metal, glass, and plastics.
It is an acid free, low melting, thermoplastic adhesive in a fine web form, especially formulated for textile bonding with a uniquely low activation temperature of 85°C.
Width- Approx. 57"
Applications & How To Use- Spunfab bonds very quickly and works very well for fusing one fabric to another - even organza - as well as fusing wood shavings to textiles in mixed media works and laminating thin layers of wood for use in wood crafts.
The fusible web is activated by the heat of a household iron. Ensure that you do not iron directly on to the adhesive web. Instead you need to iron on the fabric side. If you are not sticking 2 pieces of fabric together, you can use a sheet of parchment paper between the the iron and web.
