Account & Login

Can I use my website account in the app?

Yes! Use the same email and password you use on our website.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Tap "Forgot Password?" on the login screen or visit our website to reset it.

How do I create a new account?

Tap "Sign Up" on the login screen or create an account during checkout.

Can I browse without an account?

Yes, you can browse products without signing in. You'll need an account to checkout.

Shopping & Products

How do I search for fabrics?

Use the search icon in the header. Search by name, colour, material, or project type.

How do I filter products?

On product listing pages, tap the filter icon to filter by price, material, colour, and more.

How do I add items to my wishlist?

Tap the heart icon on any product. View your wishlist from the bottom navigation.

Can I see product details?

Tap any product to view full details, images, pricing, and stock availability.

App Features

Does the app work offline?

Your wishlist is available offline. Shopping and checkout require internet connection.

How do I enable push notifications?

Go to iOS Settings > Notifications > Pound A Metre and toggle on notifications.

Troubleshooting

The app won't load / keeps crashing

Try these steps:

  1. Close and reopen the app
  2. Check your internet connection
  3. Update to the latest app version (App Store > Updates)
  4. Restart your device
  5. Delete and reinstall the app (your account data will be safe)

I can't see my order history

Make sure you're signed in with the same account you used to place orders.

Images aren't loading

Check your internet connection. If on mobile data, ensure you have sufficient data allowance.

I'm not receiving notifications

Check:

  1. Notifications are enabled: iOS Settings > Notifications > Pound A Metre
  2. You've opted in to notifications in the app
  3. Your device has an internet connection

The app is slow

Try:

  1. Close other apps running in the background
  2. Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  3. Update to the latest app version
  4. Restart your device

My wishlist disappeared

Wishlist data is stored locally. If you reinstalled the app or cleared app data, your wishlist will be reset. Sign in to sync future wishlists.

I can't complete checkout

Ensure:

  1. All required fields are filled correctly
  2. Your payment method is valid
  3. You have sufficient funds/credit
  4. Your internet connection is stable

For payment issues, contact your bank or try a different payment method.
