When the lighter weight proved useless for my project I bought this heavier one and have used it. After washing it before sewing it fluffed up a little bit but is nothing like the picture on the website. It is much thinner and stiffer and not squishy at all. Perhaps that is how wadding is these days - I haven’t bought it for a very long time - but it used to be light weight and really fluffy.
