Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within 7-10 working days of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.

This fabric is not something I would normally buy, this is why I wanted to try it. Very floaty with a soft feel. It is very see-through, so thinking skirt overlay or maybe a flowing vest style top with fitted strappy t shirt underneath. Looking forward to trying it.
Lovely colours and great feel. Will use as scarves initially until I get some inspiration to use within a garment. Surprisingly warm when wrapped as a scarf
Lovely fabric, already finished on the edges if you want a scarf, they're a good size for one. I'll be making some floaty summer curtains.
I wanted to see what the fabric was like. When I saw it was a scarf I was impressed, green orange and crem was my lot, will go with so many of my clothes. Not confident in sewing such a fine fabric yet, but would love to make something in the future
Absolutely LOVE these lengths of crepe chiffon. I don’t feel I’m stylish enough to wear scarves usually but these are so lovely, I’m a convert. The colours are jewel like and the fabric is finished with a tiny rolled hem all round. They feel like a really really good quality and I’m smitten!
Absolutely gorgeous pieces of fabric. I will be using them as duppattas with my Indian outfits but they are lovely colours and fabrics and sizes.

Initially really impressed until I removed the small circular gold stickers on each piece of fabric. Unfortunately, this has ‘bled’ onto the cream fabric and despite my best efforts, and 3 washes, I can’t get it out!
I was very surprised by the quality of this crepe fabric. It's soft, light weight and has a beautiful drape. It really did live up to its description. The 3 pieces I received were big enough to use as scarves and I have already used one on a midweek break. It was too warm for a regular scarfe but a crepe one was perfect 👌. It's not something I would normally use but I can see this fabric would make a beautiful blouse, long dress or even lightweight trousers( with a lining of course). I would recommend it to a dress maker.
Delighted with a calculated risk! Think I paid about £10! I didn't receive the colours in thr advert!! But beautiful vibrant red, orange & a beautiful soft cream. Also my I add, that something was out of stock. A very kind lady called up and no trouble received an email saying that the refund was on its way!! The Ultimate Fabric for Summer Elegance! I recently used this crepe to create both a lightweight scarf and a matching beach pareo, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you’re looking for a fabric that combines luxury with practical summer wear, this is it. Why it worked perfectly: Breathable & Light: Despite having a lovely, substantial feel, it’s incredibly breathable. It felt cool against the skin even on a warm day at the coast. Wrinkle-Resistant: This was the biggest win! I could tie and untie the pareo all day, or tuck the scarf into my bag, and it came out looking smooth and ready to wear every time. The "Flutter" Factor: The drape is spectacular. It has just enough weight to hang elegantly, but it’s light enough to catch the wind beautifully when walking along the beach. Vibrant Finish: The colors are deep and rich, giving the simple scarf a high-end, boutique feel that elevates a basic outfit instantly. Final Verdict: This fabric transformed two simple DIY projects into pieces that look like they came from a luxury resort collection. It’s soft, durable, and a total joy to sew.
The crepe is a lovely soft floaty fabric, as anyone knows though it’s hard to sew. The colours are soft and gentle, and once washed they held their colour well. The finish on the raw edge meant these fabric pieces could be used as headscarves and not really a lot else as they are too narrow for anything else sadly - but have used the cream piece as an insert panel into a floaty blouse to see how it sewed. It needed paper to be able to get a rolled hem but that’s to be expected with crepe. Thanks for the opportunity to try out this new fabric. I can imagine it being a fabulous blouse or top It drapes nicely too
I will be giving one each to my two daughters, aswell as keeping one for myself. The material is lovely and soft and also very long in length. These will make lovely scarfs and they will come in very useful. Regards. Tracey.

Have always found Pound A Metre an honest, responsive business to order from. Have bought interfacing, wadding and corduroy in the past - all as described and exactly what I needed for the job in hand. This time I received some free samples of crepe chiffon, a new line they are introducing. I was not disappointed! A lovely sturdy but very floaty fabric with an even weave in three gorgeous colours. Perfect for scarves, decoration for weddings etc, floaty (lined!) tops or dresses etc. Would definitely recommend xx
I love these fabrics. I incorporate them into embroidery pieces rather than for dressmaking (though they would work for that too!) I'm looking forward to including these colours in future projects.
I haven’t used fabric like this before and I haven’t started sewing this yet. I did wash it and the dark green piece ran. I had a white piece that is now a lovely turquoise. The only niggle I have is that there was a label stuck on the white piece. When I took it off, it’s left a yellow mark on the fabric that didn’t come off with washing. It’s also right in the middle and still very obvious even though the colour has changed. Makes it difficult to use.
Was again delighted to trial the new crepe fabric. Really good quality and strong colours. Ready made long wonderful scarfs. I'll be gifting two but keeping one for myself.

It's a little thinner than I thought it would be but it's a lovely fabric my daughter grabbed them to wear as sarongs when on holiday

Lovely colours , has a nice drape to it. I’m using it for sleeves on a top that the bodice will be made of a thicker fabric as this is too see through - will be a nice contrast with the different fabrics.
Really happy with them, I've kept the fuchsia as a scarf, the white I made a top for my daughter ( oops no picture), haven't used the last one yet!

Lovely crepe chiffon fabric in three subtle colours. The fabric is already hemmed, so could be used as a scarf straight away. I gave the three pieces a quick handwash and they came up lovely, held their shape and colour. Would highly recommend.
It wasn’t what I was expecting but I am a scarf lover and the samples make perfect scarves! I am a ‘costume maker’ for my granddaughters and I can see how versatile this fabric will be for all the ‘holidays’ Halloween and fancy dress/costumes that will be requested! I am also putting together fabrics for rag dolls and other crafty gifts for birthday and Christmas presents and I will be ordering many other fabrics once I’ve started on my list 🤗
